Our Story

DianJen (Dye-an-Jen) started as a record label in 2009! It was the final undergraduate university project of its founder, Farley J. Joseph and the goal was to develop 5 upcoming artists over a period of time- provide training on aspects of the music business and a recording opportunity! The final project was the record label launch and release of a 5-track EP!

The name DianJen is a combination of two names- Dianne and Jennifer, the mother and aunt, respectively of its founder. DianJen is a symbol of his love and appreciation for these ladies and the impact they had on his life; which is similar to the passion he has for educating upcoming artists and desire of seeing a developed Caribbean Music Industry.

DianJen has since evolved into a Caribbean music industry training platform. Completing arts education partnerships with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts in Trinidad and Tobago and graduating hundreds of students in various music business management and music technology specialities.

DianJen is a Limited Liability Company registered in Trinidad and Tobago. We are a recognized Arts Education Organization, registered with National Registry of Artists and Cultural Workers in Trinidad and Tobago and is an approved International Rockschool Music Examinations and Vocational Centre.
